ग्लोबल बैंकों में संकट से भारतीय आईटी इंडस्ट्री की 41% आमदनी पर सीधा असर
मुंबई : अमेरिका और यूरोप में बैंकिंग संकट का असर देश के आईटी सेक्टर पर हो सकता है। करीब 20 लाख करोड़ रुपए का आईटी और बिजनेस प्रोसेस मैनेजमेंट (आईटी- बीपीएम) सेक्टर करीब आधी आय के लिए ग्लोबल बैंकिंग और फाइनेंशियल सेक्टरों पर ही निर्भर है। अमेरिका के दो बैंक डूब चुके हैं और कई बैंक खुद को बचाने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहे हैं।
उधर यूरोप के बड़े बैंकों में शुमार क्रेडिट सुइस की हालत भी खराब है, जिसे यूबीएस खरीद रहा है। विश्लेषकों के मुताबिक, भारतीय आईटी-बीपीएम इंडस्ट्री को 41% आय बैंकिंग, फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज एंड इंश्योरेंस सेक्टर से होती है। कोटक इंस्टीट्यूशनल इक्विटीज का अनुमान है कि अमेरिका और यूरोप में बैंकों की हालत कमजोर होने से 2023 की पहली छमाही में भारतीय आईटी कंपनियों की आय और ग्रोथ प्रभावित हो सकती है।
रिटेल बैंकिंग में 33% टेक निवेश अकेले अमेरिका में: अमेरिकी रिटेल बैंकिंग सेक्टर में टेक्नोलॉजी में सबसे ज्यादा निवेश होता है। साल 2022 में इन बैंकों का आईटी बज़ट 82 अरब डॉलर (6.77 लाख करोड़ रुपए) था, जबकि पूरी दुनिया का बजट 250 अरब डॉलर (20.6 लाख करोड़ रुपए) का था। बैंकों के टेक बजट पर खर्च से भारतीय आईटी कंपनियों को काफी फायदा हुआ।

Mumbai: The banking crisis in America and Europe can have an impact on the country’s IT sector. The Rs 20 lakh crore IT and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) sector is dependent on global banking and financial sectors for almost half of its income. America’s two banks have collapsed and many banks are struggling to save themselves.
On the other hand, the condition of Credit Suisse, one of Europe’s biggest banks, is also bad, which UBS is buying. According to analysts, 41% of the Indian IT-BPM industry’s revenue comes from the banking, financial services and insurance sector.
Kotak Institutional Equities estimates that the weakening condition of banks in the US and Europe could affect the earnings and growth of Indian IT companies in the first half of 2023.
33% Tech Investment in Retail Banking in the US Alone: The US retail banking sector has the highest investment in technology. In the year 2022, the IT budget of these banks was $ 82 billion (Rs 6.77 lakh crore), while the budget of the whole world was $ 250 billion (Rs 20.6 lakh crore). Indian IT companies benefited greatly from banks’ spending on tech budgets.
