इकोनॉमी : अमेरिका की बराबरी में चीन को बीस वर्ष लगेंगे
इकोनॉमी: इस साल आर्थिक विकास की गति धीमी पड़ने और अंदरूनी कर्ज के बोझ की वजह से चीन के दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था बनने में देर हो सकती है। कुछ अनुमानों के अनुसार 2023 में अमेरिका और चीन के जीडीपी में 66 लाख करोड़ रुपए से अधिक का अंतर होगा। इकोनॉमिस्ट इंटेलिजेंस यूनिट (इआईयू) के अनुसार चीन को अमेरिका से आगे निकलने के लिए 2040 के दशक तक इंतजार करना होगा।
चीन को लंबे समय तक अच्छी विकास दर बनाए रखने के लिए आबादी, प्रोडक्टिविटी और मूल्यों के मामले में स्थिति सुधारना होगी। अनुमान है, अगले बीस वर्षों में चीन की लेबर फोर्स 12% कम होगी। काम करने वाली आबादी के बल पर ही उसने अब तक तरक्की की है। उसे प्रोडक्टिविटी बेहतर करने के लिए इनोवेशन की जरूरत होगी। अमेरिका और सहयोगी देशों के आधुनिक टेक्नोलॉजी पर रोक लगाने से चीन को मुश्किल होगी।
तीसरा फैक्टर चीन की मुद्रा युआन का मूल्य है। परचेजिंग पावर’ पेरिटी के हिसाब से चीन का जीडीपी अमेरिका का केवल 60% है। इआईयू का अनुमान है, आने वाले वर्षों में डॉलर के मुकाबले युआन का मूल्य बढ़ेगा। इससे चीन को अमेरिका से अंतर कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।

The third factor is the value of the Chinese currency, the yuan. According to Purchasing Power Parity, China’s GDP is only 60% of America’s. The EIU estimates that the value of the yuan will increase against the dollar in the coming years. This will help China narrow the gap with the US.
